About The Festival: -FIFF film festival will take place every year in september, in the Norwegian town of Fredrikstad and giving the FredrikstadGoldenBear award. Fredrikstad is just an hour south from Oslo. |
| Festival History: -First festivals idea beginning in 1998 by Sores Welat Demir (journalist-writer-director-teacher). -SWD: Sport young talent films since 1998 and givig a golden camera award... -GSF: Golden Star Festival support peace-love-freedom-human rights-democracy-respect all of the world and trawel around the world since 1998 and giving a golden star award... -FIFF: Fredrikstad Int. Film Festival support the norwegian-scandinavian-european-world wide international independent films since 2011 and giving golden buddy bear awards... |

Film Submitting: -Close to 50 films will be screened during this years festival. The films can be entered before september. If you have tips or wishes about films you think we should show, please inform us. -The films must be produced in close time. -Do you wish to enter your film to festival this year? Please send us an info email with a link to your film on youtube-vimeo or other similar services. Please provide and Internet address and a password so we can view it... -Submisson opens: 1st March -Deadline: 1st Desember -For further information take contact with us. |

| Festival Pass-Ticket: The Film Festival Pass giver you free entrance to all films and events, like master-classes, and special prices in the festival café and bar. You can buy single tickets in the Cinema ticket counter any day during the festival. -The Festival Pass costs 50.- Euro. -Students and youth under 25: NOK 25.- Euro -Married and people living together: 50,- Euro for two passes. (Two for one) -Sngel Ticket to see film: 10,- Euro Ps: This year is free entry for all activits. |

| About Fredrikstad City: Fredrikstad is a town on the waterfront, about an hours travel south-east of Oslo, between Gothenburg and Oslo. The town is an experience in itself, with one of the most famous fortress old towns in Northern Europe, and in May with a number of outdoor cafés along the town´s riverside. The social aspect of the festival is important, and the festival bar and cafés, and other places for socializing close to the Festival venue makes a good climate for meeting, socializing and exchanging ideas, asking questions and sharing inspiration. Nordic/Docs has good and reasonable hotel deals if you wish to stay over, but the short distance between Oslo and other cities in the vicinity also makes it easy to travel to and from each day by bus, train or car. A bus route is planned every morning from Oslo Central Station during the festival. The last train to Oslo leaves around 22:30 in the evening all days.
